RED AND GREEN SHOULD NEVER BE SEEN
Hello there,
As I usually do on a lazy Sunday afternoon I was spending time catching up on the many blogs I follow drinking a big mug of hot chocolate yum. The blog I was so enthralled in happened to belong to a girl named Holl JC and her blog is http://holljc.blogspot.co.uk/ which I would recommend to
any body who enjoys reading beautiful blogs with equally as beautiful posts. Must admit she is one of my favourite bloggers. I was catching up on all the posts I had missed due to my busy schedule of Uni work, when one in particular caught my eye and within that post there was one particular photograph that caught my eye that I just had to draw ( Here's the post that caught my eye http://holljc.blogspot.co.uk/2013/12/the-tenth-day-of-christmas.html#comment-form). Its been a rather embarrassingly long time since I've drawn one of my 'girl drawings' and I was inspired by Holl's photograph that I just had to do it and here it is.

SPOOKY INSPIRATION
Hello lovely people!!
I'm afraid I've been a pretty bad blogger recently (yeah sorry about that) but there is a very good explanation...UNI. My goodness its a lot of work. I feel like I haven't had a moment to breath let alone do anything else. But do not fear I am off next week as its 'reading week' which is just a fancy way to say half term and I will be blogging every second I get.
I'm actually at uni this morning and I had a few moments to spare so I started playing around in photoshop and this was the outcome. Since it is Halloween soon I want to do a spooky girl drawing, so this was all in the name of inspiration.
Also I wanted to say Thank-you to everyone who has followed on GFC or Bloglovin and all your lovely, kind and amazing comments, I really didn`t suspect I would get such a response so Thank you very much.
I know it's not much but I hope you like my mini creations.
Also when I come to start my "Halloween girl" what sort of character would you like to see? For example witch, vampire, zombie ect

SNOW WHITE
Hello
I finally finished!!!
I am incredibly happy to finally share this peice of work with you all. I was planning on waiting until tomorrow to share this post with you but I just couldn't wait that long. I've spent many hours on this peice, I'm not entirely sure how many, but I do know that my hand is hurting...slightly. However I am already planning my next peice, I think I am going to turn this peice into a series. But I won't reveal quite yet what that series will be, all I will say for now is she is based on someone, just think
Hair = Black Lips = Red Skin = White
Can you guess?
(Naming her would give it away, thats why she will remain nameless for now)
Thought I'd better give her a name
Thought I'd better give her a name
I've already had a few friends asking for the peice, but I'm not ready to part with her just yet. Although I do want to make some prints, anybody know how I can do this?
Hope you like the piece

THE LEIBSTER AWARD
Hello!!
I have been tagged by Nadja at http://myvintagephotography.blogspot.co.uk/ for the Liebster Award. I didn't think I would ever be tagged in anything like this so thank-you Nadja and I suppose I should get started with the questions.
The rules of this tag are:
1.The tagged/nominated blogs have to have under 200 followers
2.Tag the blog that nominated you
3.Tell the people you tag so they can respond
1.Why did you start a blog?
I have been reading blogs for a while now mainly beauty and fashion, then I realised there was a whole community of illustartion/artists blogs. I then thought what the hell might as well give this a go.
2.What is your faviourite clothing store?
Charity shops, does that count? I do enjoy a good rummage and a bargain.
3. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Hopefully I will have moved out into my own house. I would love to see myself sitting in either Pixar or Dreamwork Studies bringing characters to life or working and designing sets on films/theatres. But also selling my artwork and illustarting books on the side. Ooo and married to Ben Barnes - this will become clear in a few moments.
4.What is your favourite thing to do?
Anything creative and crafty
5.What is your favourite food?
Peanut butter on toast, YUM
6.Do you have a celebrity crush,if so who is it?
Two words BEN BARNES. There is no need to say more
7.Do you have a favourite movie?
Dead Poets Society. If you haven't seen it you need to see it, its a fantastic film sad but fantasic.
Go watch it now!
8.Are you looking forward to Christmas?
Yeah defintely who doesn't look forward to Christmas.
9. Do you rather wear lipstick or lipgloss?
I usually wear lip balm but if my life depended on making a descision between the two I would have to say lipgloss.
10. Make-up or Clothes? What would you choose?
Clothes definelty clothes. I love clothes. Clothes are great.
I tag:
and anybody else who wants to do the tag, leave the link to your post in the comments.
My questions for you are:
1.What inspired you to start a blog?
2.If you could go back to any era for a day which time era would you go to?
3.Cats or Dogs?
4.What is your must have clothing item for Autumn?
5.What is your favourite book?
6.What is your dream job?
7. Is there anything you do that other people find weird?
8.If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?

I FEEL INSPIRED
*Sigh* Where to begin? So I haven't posted anything in a while, and there is a very good reason for that in fact there are many. To cut a very long and frustrating story short, the course I had applied to do at university has been cancelled because you need a minmum of 10 students to do the course we have 8, despite telling my art lecturer (the guy who is running the course) he only needed a minimum of 7. I will spare you the details because its complicated and frustrating (unless you would like to hear them, let me know). It was all basically about Bums on seats and the bloody goverment. (surprise surprise)
But things seemed to have turned around and I am now doing a course that is very similar to the one I would've been doing and I will finish at the same point as I would've, doing the other course (does that make sense, read it aloud that will help). The only very annoying thing is I found all this out on Wednesday so the 11th of September and when was the course suppose to start, oh yeah the 16th
-_-
The new course doesn't start until either the 1st or 8th of October, but I'm at that point that I want to go back. So, no doubt my blog will be getting a lot of attention. I have lots of posts planned and a couple of DIYs in the works.
What I found strange about this whole thing is when I first heard about it all, I felt incredaibly defeated and disheartened (few other things have contributed to this feeling) but all of a sudden I've have got this new energy a new a lease on life in a sense. I feel strong, I feel like
"You know what this is what I want to do, you put up walls I'll knock them down."
I feel inspired.
xo
I was just going to keep this blog just for my artwork, so let me know if you liked this 'lifestyle' post.

BIG BLUE EYES
Oops, it happened again. Another day I've spent drawing, I just don't know what happens. Recently I've been really inspired to draw in different styles and this particular style seems to have me hooked. Whilst I'm writing this I'm already planning the next piece. I think I may have a slight problem.
Medium: Fineliner, Coloured Pencils and coloured fineliners.
Time: 7hours maybe more.
Size: A2 piece of cartridge paper

BLOOD RED LIPS
Portraits are my favourite thing to draw, I can spend days on a single portrait rendering it to perfection. But recently I've been trying to draw a little more stylised (as when I usually draw portraits, I try and draw them incredibly realistic) and linear. I had planned on doing it all in black and white but decided to go with splashes of colour instead. However I am not to happy with the hand behind the hat, I'm not sure whether it actually looks like a hand or not, my dad suggested I turn it into a ribbon flowing from the hat.
What do you think?
Should I change it or just leave it as is?
Medium: Fineliner, Coloured Pencils and coloured pens
Time: 3hours ish

THE MADNESS BEGINS
3 months ago I finished my foundation diploma in art and design. For my dissertation I decided to look at Alice in Wonderland and talk about why it is one of the most illustrated books of all time. As part of my dissertation I decided to do my own version of some of the characters. I wanted to really capture the madness of Wonderland. Hope you like them.
