Like most British people I do enjoy a good cuppa, drinking tea is what we do. Over the past couple of years I have been turning away from the more traditional tea and enjoying more herbal/fruity tea. Most likely because they are easier to take into uni to drink instead of faffing on with milk and sugar.
I picked up these two herbal teas on my most recent excursion to Lidl. I must admit it was the packaging that forced my hand to pop them into the trolley, I'm afraid I well and truly judged a book by its cover. I picked up Blackcurrant,Vanilla and Green Roobios, Peach and Cherry. They were £1.35 each which I suppose is quite expensive for 15 tea bags.
I tried the Blackcurrant and Vanilla as soon as I got home and I was very civilised and had it in a teacup n' everything. It smells incredible, I am more than tempted to make a cup and pop into my room just to make my room smell nice. Who knew Blackcurrant and Vanilla would be such a winning combination. It tastes delicious as well, it makes me feel very cosy and autumnal. Mind you I think I would still buy it, if only for the smell. I think I just found the perfect autumnal tea, I think it would be even better with a sprinkle of cinnamon (possibly).
Sounds lovely, I like having teas to match the season or mood and often reach for Chai at Christmas time. Will keep an eye out for these!
