Simple Cinnamon Christmas Cookies

INGREDIENTS: 300g of Plain Flour, 300g of Self Raising Flour, 200g of Sugar, 4 Teaspoons of Cinnamon, 250g of Butter, Optional Orange Zest, 2 Large Free Range Eggs.


METHOD:
1. Preheat Oven to Gas Mark 3. 
2. Mix the Butter and Sugar in a bowl until smooth, add in the egg and mix.  
3. In a separate bowl sift the Flours and Cinnamon and mix together, add the Orange Zest (optional)
4. Begin to Stir in the dry ingredients into the butter,sugar, egg mixture. Until you get a firm dough.  
5. Lightly Flour the service you are going to be rolling the dough onto. 
6. Roll the dough to 5mm thickness and cut into shapes. 
7. Place onto a greased oven tray and pop in the oven for 10 - 15 minutes or until Golden Brown. 
8. Let Cool and Harden and enjoy with a hot chocolate in your favourite mug.
